How FPL Transfers Work
Transfers let managers change players in their fantasy squad between gameweeks. Planning transfers carefully can help maintain a balanced team.
Why make a transfer?
Common reasons include injuries, suspension, loss of starting place, difficult fixtures or a player becoming less attractive compared with other options.
Look at the next fixtures
A transfer is usually a short-term decision and a long-term decision at the same time. Consider upcoming opponents rather than only the next match.
Avoid unnecessary moves
Changing players simply because of one poor score can create extra problems. Look at role, minutes, fixtures and underlying performance before moving a player.
Check the deadline
Transfers must be completed before the relevant gameweek deadline. Always check the official FPL site for the current deadline.
